Review of The Story of Lansing Lotte by L.B Dunbar

Lansing Lotte is known as the lady killer. He is not only a member of The Nights, he is also the best friend of Arturo King but he has a secret, he has feelings for Guinevere and has had since he was 18. If you have read the first book in this series The Legend of Arturo King, which I strongly recommend, then you will know there was a terrible accident involving Arturo and that he is missing. The members of The Nights have all death with their loss in different ways. There is something strange going on with Mur Lin, Ingrid and Ana that this book doesn't answer but you can tell it is leading to something big to do with Arturo. Lila and Fleur live in apartment 3a in the same building as Lansing. Lila is a photographer and while Lansing and Lila flirt as they pass each other in the hallways or elevator, they don't actually know each other until a disaster strikes and Lansing comes to the rescue of Fleur. This story is abut Lansing and how he discovers his feelings for Guinevere are not what they seems and that his happiness is right under his nose. L.B Dunbar takes us through a vivid and amazing journey with Lansing and Lila as they discover they are what each other needs. This story still leaves many questions unanswered about Arturo so be prepared for the need to read the next book The Quest of Perkins Vale to discover what The Nights will go through next. On a side note, if like me, you liked Guinevere after the first book, be prepared to have a very different opinion of her! This book portrays her in a different light, one I'm not entirely sure I like. Anyway, this is another must read book from L.B. Dunbar. Once again she has woven a tale that you can slip right into.
