About Me

Hi, my name is Kat and I'm a book lover.
I read all kinds of books but my favourite kind are romance and I don't just mean the sweet lovey dovey kind either. I like the hot alpha males that dominate the equally hot alpha females, the domineering playboys who need to be taught a lesson, the bitchy and catty females who only need the love of their life to change them, oh I could go on and on forever but I wont.
I guess you could say my passion for books started at a very young age. I was 10 when I first read The Dawn Series by Virginia Andrews (yes I know it was not age appropriate, but hey it was an amazing book) and from there my love for books grew. I was 14 when I was given my first Stephen King novel, Gerald's Game and I fast became addicted to anything I could get my hands on to read. Books became my escape from the real world. See I was born with a very rare medical condition called Arthrogryphosis and as such I could't play sports and spent many years in and out of hospital for various surgeries. Even thought I was cosmetically different from my peers, I was well liked and had many many friends, but my books are what kept me company when I couldnt sleep due to pain or when I was stuck in a hospital bed for weeks on end.
These days I still spend lots of time in hospitals reading, but it is not for myself. My daughter also had Arthrogryphosis and althought all her corrective surgeries were done when she was a baby, she spend oodles of time in hospital due to her spine issues (she has sever scoliosis and kyphosis).
I currently review books for a few reviewing groups and I love being able to share my oponion with others. This blog will not only have my 'normal' reviews, but also a more in depth review with possible spoilers.
I hope you enjoy my reviews as much as I enjoy sharing them with you.
