When I first started this I thought it would be a typical bad boy meets good girl and falls inlove and it is but it's also so much more.

Arturo is the lead singer of The Nights, a band that rose to fame with the help of a pub owner named Leo. He is a playboy and has no problem with the way he lives his life from one girl to the next never believing he will settle for just one until he sees Guinie.

Guinie is young and innocent but has a total fan girl crush on Arturo. She has been watching him perform in her fathers pub for years and never thinks that someone like Arturo would notice her.

Leo sets up an innocent walk in the park between his daughter and his favourite lead singer in the hopes they become friends but I don't think even he thought they would connect of a deeper level.

Things get very interesting when Guinie goes with the band to Arturo's house for a break. This is where we meet Ana (whom I seriously dislike) and her son Morte. Things happen and Guinie sees another side to Arturo that she does not understand.

Arturo knows that Guinie is his only and forever and they get engaged but on the night of their engagement Guinie gets kidnapped and drugged and its Lansing who saves her. There is a secret history between Guinie and Lansing that Arturo is not aware of but that Guinie feels extremely guilty about. She has decided to tell Arturo all about her past with Lansing but before she can Arturo appears to have been in an accident and is now missing. I can't wait to find out what happens next and will be diving into all the books in this series just as soon as I can. A great book with gripping story line and personable characters. Well done LB Dunbar you are an amazing author and I look forward to reading more of your books.
